Where to begin…I am a 34 year old, big city gal who longs to live in the cutest of cottages surrounded by the beauty of nature. Who can relate? Lol. A holistic living enthusiast, solitary practitioner of the craft for 20 years, alchemist, nature lover, mother, wife, breast cancer fighter, and sometimes forest fairy. I’ve been drawn to magick and the earth for as long as I can remember. A book I read about Merlin started me on my path when I was 14 and I have never looked back.

Then & Now

I have always strived to be mindful of my health, and to take care of my body, soul and mind as best I could. Now trust me this did not always go so well! I’ve had major ups and downs with my weight and a horrible self image most of my life. Not to mention, have been battling anxiety for years and long periods of time where life just got in the way. I completely lost sight of my spiritual and soul feeding needs. Now, over the last 5 years I have been actively transitioning into a holistic, natural way of life.  I am finally at a point where I am beginning to embrace everything that makes me who I am, while incorporating my own spiritual and holistic ways into the mix. And boy, would I love to share things with you all!

I have also just recently added a section to the blog dealing with breast cancer in light of my diagnosis last December. This being such a huge part of my life now I couldn’t imagine not including it here. I will share my journey and experiences on surgery, treatments, healing and emotional struggles.

So why blog about it?

I began churning the idea to start this blog some time ago because I really wanted to share ideas and thoughts about my passions with others. Those of the same mindset or who are curious about these lifestyle choices. I also thought how nice would it be to have a blog that combined natural living and the craft?  In my humble opinion, these two topics could not be more well suited to each other.

I finally took the leap and launched the blog last April. I was working hard to put up regular posts, build my mailing list and get a rhythm going with my mail-outs. Then breast cancer happened and I got completely de-railed. My entire life really, not just the blog lol. I went 4 months without posting or updating anything and am finally now getting things together to begin posting again. And, of course, adding the section on breast cancer to the roster. I am hoping that sharing my experiences will help other young women on their own journeys. While also possibly helping to raise some awareness about the disease, and the fact that yes young women get it too.

Not to mention, this life change has made me even more passionate about holistic health and my spiritual life which is what this blog was all about in the first place. So expect to see lots more on both of these fronts as well!

I am thrilled to have you here, to share my journey and to perhaps join you on yours as well <3
